iPad on the Road?

When deciding on which tech gadgets to buy, how they travel is a big consideration for me. This review discussed the the iPad's "Trip Worthiness".

This article tells me one thing: wait. Wait for more apps to get developed and wait for 3G. It seems like the iPad is most useful in transit and at the hotel, but harder to use "on the go" like walking around new places, etc. I also still need functionality like logging in for work in case something comes up while I'm away!

In the meantime though, I am allowed to drool over them =P
