Stopping to Smell the Mums...
One thing I love about Manhattan are the flower shops on almost every corner -- they add much needed color to the city's ubiquitous concrete grayness.
While walking home from work today, I noticed the beautiful mums at a corner flower shop. Needing a pick me up, I decided (with the help of my friend / co-worker Linda) on buying a bunch of the white and lavender ones =)

After some pruning and washing, I now have beautiful flowers to look at while I take a 10:30pm work call =X Oh well, have to appreciate the little things in life, right?
