NYC: Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Does this look vintage or what?
I went to my first Yankees game!
When I told people this, they said I hadn't lived yet =P Oh well, I think I've lived plenty -- just never made it out to the Bronx for a game yet!
I learned a ton of stuff at this game, especially stories about where the "seventh-inning stretch" came about, differences between the American League and National League and how Red Sox and Yankees fans get along (not well at all)...
And thank goodness it was a relatively warm night (~50 degrees). Last year, Jing took me to a Mets vs. Giants game in May, but it was around 40 degrees!
A couple people even proposed at the game!
The food was pretty awesome too!! =)
The best part of baseball games -- drinking in the day time outdoors!
These fries and hot dog were delicious too =P
We all should take time out of our busy lives to get out there and go to a baseball game -- do the YMCA, sing about eating cracker jacks and indulge in some beers and hot dogs.
It's a great way to celebrate the coming of summer and an awesome American pastime!
